Burntisland Fabrications Ltd (BiFab) has specialised in the offshore oil and gas sector for many years and has gained a reputation for innovation through the provision of cost effective design and fabrication solutions while, at the same time, achieving excellent results in HSE and Quality. BiFab has fabricated structures for offshore with weights of up to 4,000 tonnes. BiFab understands the problems facing the new offshore wind industry and have the skills required to make a significant contribution to their solution. Our facility at Burntisland is ideal for the fabrication of the large sub-structures required for supporting the turbines. In addition we have taken over a part of the Methil facility formerly occupied by Kvaerner to allow us to offer a wider range of solutions to our clients. In association with a major subcontractor, SIF in Holland, we can offer a complete package including material supply, rolling, fabrication, storage and loadout to suit installation requirements. This Production capability is approximately 60,000 Tonnes per annum. |
